April has been a month full of energy, progress, and renewed commitment from the associations supported by Club Ocean. From coral planting and educational outreach to coastal cleanups and species monitoring, each organization continues to play a vital role in protecting our planet's fragile ecosystems.
In this monthly update, we highlight the impactful actions carried out throughout April. Proof that, together, we’re building a stronger and more sustainable future for marine and Arctic wildlife. 💙🌍
Advancing Coral Restoration and Community Awareness
Ocean Gardener x ClubOcean®
Ocean Gardener significantly expanded its coral restoration efforts across Bali and Nusa Penida. The team focused on coral planting, nursery maintenance, and installing new reef structures called “spiders” to support reef growth.
They also organized training sessions to share coral propagation techniques, empowering local communities to actively participate in conservation. Partnerships with schools, dive centers, and hotels helped raise awareness about the importance of protecting fragile reef ecosystems.
Despite ongoing challenges from rising ocean temperatures, Ocean Gardener’s dedicated work continues to make a lasting impact on the health and resilience of coral reefs for the future.
